What is Jojoba Oil and what are its cosmetic properties?

Jojoba oil, in which several Nuvò Cosmetic snail slime creams are rich, is a product obtained by pressing the various seeds of a plant that finds its natural location in Central America, and especially in Mexico.

Simmondsia chinensis is the plant that undergoes the pressing process. Once harvested, the seeds of its fruits are first washed and then carefully squeezed by means of special machines.

These machines allow the removal of excess and impure parts that could be present at the time when this phase of product processing takes place. 

This product is used in a variety of fields and shall be accurately harnessed to make the most of it. 

The only type of use that cannot be made is the gastronomic one: the different substances that make up Jojoba oil are, in fact, quite heavy and make the product  rather difficult to digest. This is why its main field of application is the cosmetic one.

Properties of Jojoba oil

Being very rich in collagen, it makes the skin smoother and corrects the inevitable imperfections  due to ageing.
In addition to performing these functions , Jojoba oil also contains a large amount of vitamins, such as B2 and vitamin E, which contribute to making the skin more protected and better-looking.

Dry skin and marks such as s blemishes and burns are actually a problem that belongs to the past thanks to the use of this oil. Jojoba oil also helps the skin remain perfectly hydrated.

Jojoba oil applications

Due to its previously mentioned properties, jojoba oil finds its natural application in the field of cosmetics.

Thanks to the ability to penetrate the epidermis without greasing, it is used to prevent face skin ageing and the formation of wrinkles.
